BCT Private Land Conservation Conversations
This event is designed as an open format session to provide an opportunity for BCT private conservation landholders to consult and engage with the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust. Drop in for a cuppa or a bite to eat and chat with BCT staff about what's happening in the private conservation space, share your experience with other BCT landholders, and offer feedback on your personal experience in private land conservation.
After lunch attendees are invited to stay for a small chat about some methods of monitoring your properties for wildlife and fauna which may include pest species.
Held on the lands of the Yaegl people of the Bundjalung Nation, this event is hosted by Clarence Landcare Inc, and made possible thanks to the shared work of the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust and Landcare NSW under the Private Land Conservation Matters Project.

Event Outcomes
Learning outcome: Important to provide an overview of the days’ activities/ format before the start of the day, as landholders were left adrift feeling confused. The BCT prescription for the event was an “open-format” drop in consultation session however many landholders wanted an activity.
