Event Description

HLN.2:  Biodiversity Day held at Marway, Tumbarumba.  An Event for Landholders with a Conservation Agreement and local community groups to learn about Biodiversity. Speaker: Kevin Chaplin BCT and Birdlife: Ben Humphries to speak about local birds/ecology  Fully catered lunch for 20 people, include site preparation, remote location set/up, on-site cooking & service and clean-up using Mundays Catering Tumbarumba with local home made produce.

Montane, Peatlands and Plains Walk & Talk

Learn more about the biodiversity of Montane peatlands and how private land conservation contributes to the broader landscape values.

Also an opportunity to learn about opportunities in the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust programs that support and reward environmental stewardship. Talk to some landholders with agreement about how it works.
