6. Dorrigo Property Walk and Talk-Exploring the Ecotones - from Rainforest to Dry Sclerophyll-Roseberry Creek - BRRVLN
Traversing through two adjoining BCT Conservation Agreement properties, this day offers mindblowing views and inspiring stories. We will explore different vegetation communities and reflect on how that influences management. This will include the role of fire, consideration to threatened species (both flora and fauna) and feral animal concerns. We will also take a dive into plant identification and weed control treatments.
This field day event is held on the lands of the Bundjalung people, and is being delivered as part of the Private Land Conservation Matters series in partnership with the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust and North Coast Regional Landcare.
