7 - Riverbank Restoration Field Day-Nambucca Valley riverbank restoration field day Yarranbella


Join a variety of local experts passionate about our river system for an informative and engaging field day.

Local Land Services, Mujaay Ganma, Bellingen, Macleay, and Nambucca Landcare are teaming up to showcase successful river restoration efforts.

Enjoy a short walk along a beautiful stretch of the Taylors Arm River, where you'll learn about the benefits of fencing off and replanting riverbanks and managing weeds. Learn about plant ID and diversity with bush regen expert John Ross. This restored section of the river now boasts a thriving habitat for bird and fish life. Don't miss this chance to explore and learn how to look after our waterways.

BYO Chairs, water bottles, sunscreen, wear hats and covered shoes. Morning tea and lunch provided.

This field day event is held on the lands of the Gumbaynggirr people, and is being delivered as part of the Private Land Conservation Matters series in partnership with the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust and North Coast Regional Landcare.
