Join Murrumbidgee Landcare Inc and the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust for an engaging workshop where you'll discover the triumphs and setbacks of land restoration using native plant revegetation.


Hear from renowned Native Vegetation Specialists who will share their expertise on how to seamlessly integrate native vegetation into your property. Learn practical strategies for safeguarding your revegetation projects from stock and pests and explore innovative techniques to protect your land while enhancing biodiversity. Enjoy live demonstrations of effective planting methods and gain insights into funding opportunities for threatened bird species and biodiversity enhancement on your property. This workshop is your chance to connect with like-minded individuals and gain valuable knowledge to transform your land into a thriving ecosystem.

 

Guest Speakers:


Owen Whitaker - Property owner, will take us on a walk and talk show casing his successes and his failures 
Mason Crane - Biodiversity Conservation Trust, will share information about the Biodiversity Conservation trust and how revegetation projects can compliment and boost conservation areas.
Graham Fifield - Greening Australia, talking about direct seeding and Greening Australia's current projects
Leigh Mathieson - Murrumbidgee Landcare Inc, will talk about the revised South West Slopes Revegetation Guide and the creation of the NEW North Bidgee Slopes sub catchment Revegetation profiles.
