Do you have a few highlights or outcomes either about the topic or about what made the event so successful?
- The Tamworth Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC) is currently applying for a grant to replicate the same event
- Shelley McDouall (RLC) is currently seeking more funding from BCT to replicate the filed day across the network
- The local rangers and ecologist Phil Spark want to collect seed samples of endemic species off property used for field day
- Attendee wants to use the field day property as a release site for WIRES.
- The event was successful as the subject was very relevant to landcarers hearts, creating habitats for native fauna! The day was a balance between science based information, well presented, friendly environment and passionate and engaged attendees.
